As soon as I entered the Dorothy Danahy offices, I knew I was in safe hands and that a suitable job would be found quickly for me. I never actually chose to be an assistant. It was just the way things turned out for me and the natural conclusion to the line of education I chose to follow. I now realise, however, that it really was the perfect job for me because it meant that I got to do what I really enjoy in life; helping people. If I could give one piece of advice to those looking for an Assistant position on the market today, it would have to be to improve your English. The job market is already hard enough as it is, so having English is an invaluable asset in order to get ahead of the game. It is also essential to remember that there will always be obstacles to overcome when it comes to finding and then keeping a job, however they should be viewed as challenges and not dilemmas because there really are no problems, only solutions.
