I never actually chose to be an assistant. It was just the way things turned out for me and the natural conclusion to the line of education I chose to follow. As soon as I entered the Dorothy Danahy offices, I knew I was in safe hands and that a suitable job would be found quickly for me. After completing language and computing tests, I then met with Dorothy, who perused my CV and we discussed my options. She put me forward for positions straight away and it seemed to me that the office had many clients and therefore a large network. This reassured me as I previously had been with another recruitment agency who didn't have many propositions for me.
After I left the office, it wasn't long before I got calls from the various recruitment consultants in the agency. They understood what I was looking for and I soon went on interviews.
