Testimonials
For over 15 years, Dorothy and her well connected, extremely knowledgeable and professional team have been side by side with me at nearly every important cross-road of my career and the mutual trust has turned every research into a successful job offer. They are simply the best on the market.
Being accompanied in your job search is a very delicate task which necessitates good communication, comprehension of candidate priorities and an accurate evaluation of their skills and of course, their expectations!
I observed all of these qualities in each member of the Dorothy Danahy team and for me, this was essential in establishing mutual trust. Thanks to Dorothy Danahy I found the support, advice and encouragement that I needed to take on new professional challenges.
The team at Dorothy Danahy is faultless in their welcoming of candidates and the different staff with whom I had the pleasure of speaking to were always very friendly and extremely efficient.
The appointment I had to register with their agency demonstrated their perfectionism and I felt immediately at ease there.
Regular contact and follow-up during my interviews was testament to their skill and attentiveness: Dorothy Danahy recently found me a position and I am very happy there.
I recommend this company - they will measure up to your expectations.
I have known the Dorothy Danahy agency for many years. There is complete transparence between the recruitment team and their candidates.
Attentiveness and respect for the candidate and their profile are very important points for this company, which is why they never contact you with a position that isn't an exact match to what both you and their client are looking for. This team has always treated me with the highest level of professionalism!
Dorothy Danahy is one of the best agencies I have worked with in Paris, Sydney or London.
The registering process is easy and the staff have a personal, honest and professional approach
I was presented a number of interesting opportunities and secured a fabulous position very quickly.
As soon as I entered the Dorothy Danahy offices, I knew I was in safe hands and that a suitable job would be found quickly for me. After completing language and computing tests, I then met with Dorothy, who perused my CV and we discussed my options. She put me forward for positions straight away and it seemed to me that the office had many clients and therefore a large network. This reassured me as I previously had been with another recruitment agency who didn't have many propositions for me.
After I left the office, it wasn't long before I got calls from the various recruitment consultants in the agency. They understood what I was looking for and I soon went on interviews. Two short weeks went by between my initial consultation with Dorothy and the signature of my employment contract - I think that speaks for itself!!
The Dorothy Danahy team helped me to find a new job.
I would particularly like to congratulate my Consultant, who was in charge of my file, for the quality of her work and for her attentiveness.
I am very much appreciated her ability to listen and her sense of judgment.
Through her professionalism and understanding of the role, she was able to meet the expectations of both myself and of the client company.
I'd like to thank the whole team for their kindness.
I arrived in France in 1983 and after my first few jobs as a classic secretary, I contacted the Dorothy Danahy recruitment agency in the 1990s as I was very interested in their job vacancies for native English speakers.
My first encounter with Dorothy Danahy and her team was very positive and throughout my career, with their help, I have been able to develop my profession as a PA.
When I was recently ill and away from work for 8 months, Dorothy always kept in touch with me, to see how I was getting on and to keep my spirits up: I really appreciated this very kind thought.
I never actually chose to be an assistant. It was just the way things turned out for me and the natural conclusion to the line of education I chose to follow. I now realise, however, that it really was the perfect job for me because it meant that I got to do what I really enjoy in life; helping people. To be an assistant it is so important to feel a sense of service in your job and to have a very optimistic approach to life. You are constantly under pressure to perform and therefore organisation, flexibility and of course enthusiasm are all essential for the role.
I first met the team at Dorothy Danahy SAS in August 2004 and was rapidly placed in a globally renowned financial group in September 2004 and have been working there for 6 months. I couldn’t believe how quickly things moved for me and it was really thanks to their help and efficiency that I am where I am today!
If I could give one piece of advice to those looking for an Assistant position on the market today, it would have to be to improve your English. The job market is already hard enough as it is, so having English is an invaluable asset in order to get ahead of the game. It is also essential to remember that there will always be obstacles to overcome when it comes to finding and then keeping a job, however they should be viewed as challenges and not dilemmas because there really are no problems, only solutions.
Dorothy Danahy and her team are in my eyes the best recruitment company in Paris.
Not only do they offer to candidates fabulous positions, but they have the gift of making you feel special and unique, they always keep in touch and follow you up.You are considered as an individual and not just a C.V.
Dorothy Danahy has a real feel for people, she and her team really "get to know you" in order to help you really find your dream job!
I've known Dorothy Danahy and her team since 2009. They never let me down even when I was feeling low and unsure of myself, they find the right words to boost my confidence. What more can a candidate possibly wish for!!
Thanks to them I found the position that I always and only dared to wish for.
I'm always very proud to give Dorothy Danahy's name to a future candidate or employer, and touched that I was asked to write a testimonial...
