I contacted Dorothy Danahy following a skills assessment that I had wanted to do mid-way through my career which made it clear that I would continue to blossom in assistant roles working for company managers. I was asked to send my CV and was contacted later the same day to schedule a date and time for an interview with them.
Once in their offices, I completed a series of tests. Having determined the type of position I was looking for, they confirmed that my profile corresponded to their vacancies and that I would be contacted shortly and briefed about any suitable jobs.
I generally don't have too much faith in recruitment agencies, as there is often no contact after the well-known scenario of tests and interviews, or if there is contact, it is several months later.

I put myself forward for the job, a bilingual Executive Assistant role for a financial services company, a permanent position I have now held for 6 months.
