Are you ready to take on a new challenge in your professional career? Join this prestigious international law firm as a Junior Assistant to support inspiring and talented associates.

With offices across the globe, this firm has established itself as a key player on the international stage, handling major strategic cases. You will have the opportunity to work closely with renowned lawyers who engage with top executives and influential political figures on a daily basis. In this dynamic environment, you will join a multicultural team as a Junior Assistant within the Paris offices, working closely with the Office Manager and the Assistants.

Your role:

  • As a Junior Assistant, you will represent the values of this prestigious firm, particularly in welcoming visitors, managing the mail distribution, and ensuring that each associate has the necessary documents ahead of their meetings, all while maintaining professionalism.
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep of the office, making sure that meeting rooms are organised for guests and that office supplies are always up to date. To maximise the efficiency of the team, you will support the assistants with their daily administrative tasks.

Over the course of your training and under the supervision of the Legal Assistants:

  • You will participate in the management of the complex calendarsof the lawyers, organising their business travelfrom A to Z, and scheduling client meetings, among other tasks. This role requires a high level of adaptability as you will face last-minute changes, time zone constraints, and the need to understand visa policies for business travel.
  • Beyond traditional administrative duties, you will also handle various financial tasks, such as monitoring billing, client follow-ups, and liaising with the accounting department. Your attention to detail and strong writing skills will be essential, as you will be dealing with important documents that need to be proofread, photocopied, and archived while maintaining confidentiality.

This role will allow you to grow and develop your skills from being an administrative assistant and receptionist to a legal assistant, so that you can take on the tasks of a legal or executive assistant in the case of their absence.

  • You’re eager to refine your language and communication skills within a fast-paced, stimulating international environment.
  • You are fully bilingual in French and English—both written and spoken—which is essential for working in a multicultural and global business context.
  • You understand strategic legal issues and can provide reliable support on legal and administrative matters.
  • You are comfortable working in a close-knit team and bring the soft skills necessary for success: a strong service orientation, team spirit, and a consistently positive attitude.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are second nature to you, especially in a role where you’ll be exposed to sensitive and high-level information.
  • You are fully proficient with Microsoft Office and can easily adapt to new tools and software as needed.
